Wikis
Getting Started
Start by setting up an account on Wikispaces by clicking here . This can be a bit of a pain. Call me over if you need help. Once you’ve created your wiki you can begin building your portfolio; your own personalized space about you and your work! By the end of your first design session, your wiki should have:
- A personalized look (change the color scheme, layout, icon, etc.)
- A brief biography (i.e. 2-3 sentences on a new page)
- Links to the two pieces of work done in IT that you are most proud of (e.g. concept map, comic strip). Try to embed they directly on the page so that they can be view right away, rather than downloaded.
Your wiki is something that we’ll be working on through the rest of the semester. By the end of the course most of the work that you’ve done will be up there. I’d like you to post most of your work there, the stuff that you’re most proud of. Think of it as your own personal art gallery. I will evaluate you on it at the very end of the course.
