Here’s what I want you to do today. You will be marked on your ability to pull this off.

1. From the home page of Google Docs, create a new document.
2. Find a piece of text online (e.g. a biography of a personal hero, your favorite song lyrics or a description of a place you’d like to visit). Use this piece of text to show that you understand the following features in the Document writer:
3. Insert a(n) image and a drawing (under the insert menu) [2]
4. Play with the font and list styles (under the format menu) [2]
5. Use the translate and word count tools (under the tools menu) [2]
6. Say something nice to someone that you don’t usually talk to.
7. Use the ‘Share’ button and share the document with me (calebmorton@gmail.com) [1]
8. Email the document to me as a .pdf file [1]
9. Make a new page on your blog called ‘Google Docs’. Create a link to your new document in your blog [1]
10. Embed the file on your ‘Google Docs’ page [1]
