Anim8or

This program is primarily for character animation. Anim8or is freeware and is for beginner to intermediate users. If you believe you are a more advanced user then Blender is for you.

Your task:

1. Go the tutorial page and work through the Hand tutorial.

2. Go the tutorial page and work through the Eggplant tutorial.

3. Go the tutorial page and work through the Simple Walk tutorial.

4. Now that you have made the body it is time to add it to a skeleton.

5. Try another tutorial of your choice, there are about 20 to choose from. (At the bottom of the page there are links to flash tutorial videos as well).

5. Build a character. This character should be fictional and should have limbs for movement. Name your character (include your name is some way) and save it in the O:drive/Morton/YourGrade/Anim8or.

6. With the same character add a shadow to it as if the sun is high overhead. Name this file your character name + shadow and save it in the O:drive/Morton/YourGrade/Anim8or.

7. Make 2 more pictures of your character in different positions to show that it is in motion. Save these as character name + motion in the O:drive/Morton/YourGrade/Anim8or.

8. If you are proud of what you have created send the file torsteven@anim8or.com, he’ll post it on his site!!
