Commercial Maker

This project should take about two weeks or 5 classes. You will be using Microsoft Movie Maker. I will give you a few instructions, but most of it you will learn by trial and error. There is also online tutorials.

The topic is wide open; anything you like that is school appropriate. Great commercials include special effects such as slow motion and instantaneous replay…let your imagine run wild.

Remember to use the folder in the O:drive/YourGrade/Commercials/YourName where save all photos, videos, and music.

THE COMMERCIAL Marks (33 marks)

1. Within Time Frame: 1 minute

2. Multiple Pictures or Video Footage.

3. Multiple Audio Layers (3 are possible)

4. Title Overlays (many types possible)

5. Appropriate Transitions & Special Effects.

6.Logical Layout and Sequence (is there a point?).

7. Strong Marketing Concept (does it convince you to buy?).

8. Cost or Link for more information.

9. Humorous or Clever.

10. Original and innovative (anything particularily unique?)

11. Works Cited at the end of the commercial. (not included in time limit)

To download a video you must go to google and type in the search box youtube downloader. You will find all kinds of programs. Do not download these programs at school. Use them at home only. A good one, at least in my experience, is Youtube Catcher.

A more recent downloader that I have used is YouTube DDL.
