Voki

I have two Vokis created, but their site has a problem at the moment..but I found out the reason why the code hasn’t been working, click here…but more importantly I have found a way to make it work, click here.

This is a quick and pretty simple, but fun, project.

Voki is a free service that allows you to create personalized speaking avatars and use them on your blog, profile, and in email messages.

You get to create a speaking character and add your voice to it. The steps are simple as you customize your Avatar:

Character Style: Select a character from one of our many styles: Classic, Animals, Oddballs and more!

Customization: Change the look, clothing and accessories.

Voice: Add your own voice via phone, microphone, text to speech or upload a file.

Background: Choose a background from our library or upload your own.

Publish: Put the Avatar on your blog and email it to a friend (or get code to take your Voki avatar anywhere).

The dialogue should be over 20 seconds…catch our attention!

This Avatar project should not take more than 2 classes. Each of the bolded sections above are worth 3 points.

So the total is 15 marks.
