Sketchup

SketchUp is a 3D modeling program designed for architectscivil engineers, filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. It also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth. It was designed to be more intuitive, flexible, and easier to use than other 3D CAD programs.Your task:

1st: Watch the first three tutorial below…and if inspired watch the rest (but at minimum the first three).

2nd: Begin to play around with Sketchup by creating a circle, a sphere, a square, a cube, a cone, a cylinder, a triangle, and a pyramid…save them in your Sketchup folder in the U:drive.

3rd: Start to make an simple object such as a chair or a table, whatever simple you like, and save it in your Sketchup folder in the U:drive.

4th: For your major project choose whether you will make a car, a robot, or a home. If you desire to construct something else you must pass it by me before hand.

Deadlines:

1. Shapes activity 2 classes from today.

2. Simple object 4 classes from today.

3. Major Project 8 classes from today.
