The MOON LANDING MYSTERY
This is an internet research assignment. Using the internet to find information is a crucial skill in today’s world. Learning to choose between reputable sites and poorly sourced sites is not easy. In order to help you develop these skills the debate about the American Moon Landing has been raised.
Your research should be POSTED on your blog. The following is a guideline for you, but there is room for creativity.
Paragraph 1: General introduction of the event in question.
The opening paragraph with your thesis statement, which states your opinion. You must decide if you believe or do not believe that the USA landed on the moon. You also must introduce your main topics for Paragraphs 2-7.
Paragraph 2-3: History of the event.
Discuss when the flights occurred, what technological difficulties there were, who was involved, and Sources needed. PLAGARISM IS NOT ACCEPTED…IMMEDIATE ZERO.
Paragraph 4-5: Scientific Debate.
Use reputable sites and opinions to help convince the reader of your opinion. Again your own words only, with quotation marks and proper referencing for points taken from online sources.
Paragraphs 6-7: The importance of this debate to the world
What sorts of repercussions did this landing/not landing have on the world. How did this event affect world relations and world powers? Would anything be different if this event did not occur?
Paragraph 8: Conclusion.
Restatement of thesis and summary of main ideas.
