Switched Over!
So you have nearly finished your wordpress blogs, and I have made the switch over as well. It is a sad day, seven trustworthy years with blogsome, but change IS a part of the new age. Flexibility and patience is key is the techno age my young jedis. This should be the LAST CLASS to finish blog criteria points #1-18…if you are not there SEEK HELP…there are many now ready to move on.
I would like to make a progression through some old, newish, and newest free Animation software. We’ll start with Pivot, then Anim8or, then Xtranormal, and finally FLASH. In fact, I have had no exprience with flash myself, has anyone here?
Of course, comments are still worth marks…last class only 5 people made comments???
You should BEGIN evaluating each other today.
There are so many wonderfully fun projects that we’ll be doing. The next one I have not done in a while, but I see a few people would like to try it…plus it is a nice introductory to animation. I will demonstrate PIVOT and you’ll be creating a short pivot animation with a message for:
a. the ELEMENTARY students of Salmo. That’s right, we’re going to think of important messages for the little ones…funny is good, no blood, drugs, or sex.
b. a PRESENTATION for one of your current classes…as a teacher if you can do a project on a certain topic that ties into one of your classes and go for it…maybe you’ll be able to “hit” two birds with one “pivot stone”.
c. a COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT idea that you wish to do…requires a small paragraph application request to Mr. Morton before proceeding ahead.
Has anyone used Pivot before? We’ll have to download some of theextras that go all with it.
